This week, let’s get to know the Luminous Lam!

  1. Tell us briefly what you do you do at Give.Asia
    Partnership Management – Vietnam team
  2. What inspired you to start giving, and what does giving mean to you?
    I am lucky, so I want to share my luck with other people with less luck.
  3. What causes are you most passionate about?
    Music & Art
  4. What’s one of your favourite jokes?
    Father mosquito teaches his son: Son just because we are small doesn’t mean we can’t make a big impression
  5. What was the best piece of advice anyone has ever given you?
    Sometimes, the safest choice is not available because your heart doesn’t allow for it for whatever reason. That’s being human. None of us can escape that. And sometimes, good things happen because you followed your heart. Not always, but that’s what makes life interesting. (from the greatest Critical thinking teacher I have learnt from)
  6. Who would be your ideal dinner guest (dead or alive), and why?
    Partner: compatible and understanding
  7. Are there any books, movies, songs, etc., that have left a lasting impression on you?
    Books: Inspired (Marty Cagan), Wings of Fire
    Movies: Cinema Paradiso, Friends
    Songs: Nightingale, Flower Dance
  8. A quote or saying you live by, and what it means to you
    Sometimes, the safest choice is not available because your heart doesn’t allow for it for whatever reason. That’s being human. None of us can escape that. And sometimes, good things happen because you followed your heart. Not always, but that’s what makes life interesting.
    It means everything to me.
